Adults seeking guidance on important life decisions face two unsatisfying options: general-purpose AI chatbots that return generic, context-free answers, or traditional astrology services that are expensive, slow, and inconsistent across practitioners. Neither delivers personalized, reasoned guidance at scale.

Primarily Gen Z and Millennials, though the product is used by adults across age groups and backgrounds. We have measurable organic demand across the United States, India, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Europe, and the product is used in over twenty languages.

We sit at the intersection of consumer AI and the global astrology services market. In the United States, 43 percent of women under 50 report believing in astrology (Pew Research), and demand is strong across India, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. It is a large, growing category with no AI-native leader.
What Makes Destiny Different
Two technical and methodological choices set us apart from generic horoscope apps and from general-purpose AI products attempting to answer astrological questions.
We compute the exceptions that everyone else skips.
High-stakes astrological guidance requires computing exceptions: dosha cancellations, yoga strengths, and malefic-cancelling combinations. In India alone, an estimated 1 to 2 million marriages are delayed or called off every year due to Manglik dosha, and classical Vedic texts describe hundreds of exception rules that can cancel it based on the specific chart.
Horoscope apps skip these because they are complex. General-purpose LLMs cannot reason through them cost-effectively at scale. Our custom algorithm checks every exception, every time, at a fraction of standard LLM costs.
Every chart reads differently. Our model learns each one.
Every user's birth chart reads differently based on the life they have lived and the decisions they have made. Competitors generalize at the zodiac sign level, producing the same horoscope for hundreds of millions of people.
Destiny picks up feedback signals from each user and adjusts the weights inside the model for that individual. The longer someone uses Destiny, the more accurately we read their chart against their actual life.

His background sits at an uncommon intersection: career-level depth in both software engineering and classical Indian astrology. Most teams in this category have one or the other. Prabhu has spent decades on both.
